LET THE SUN SHINE ON DONNER SUMMIT

The Union has an excellent editorial today, Sunshine Week sheds light on Issue of Open Government. This editorial mentions their efforts to get citizen access to the records Royal Gorge LLC submitted to Placer County, which were withheld from the public for over a month. We owe a big debt of thanks to this paper for its watchdog efforts, and to all the papers and news/editorial websites, such as YubaNet, and California Progress Report, who make sure citizens are kept fully informed of all issues concerning governance.
